Alliance of Automobile Manufacturers and Texas Automobile Dealers Association Joint Statement on Direct Sales Legislation Opposition
"The Alliance of Automobile Manufacturers, TADA and their respective Texas employees numbering over 400,000 are opposed to SB 2093, SB 2184, HB 4236 and HB 4014. This legislation jeopardizes a valuable vehicle sales and service presence for consumers in Texas, threatens Texas jobs and undermines long-standing business investments in Texas. We stand with Texas consumers, Texas employees and Texas businesses in opposition to this legislation."

The Texas Automobile Dealers Association (TADA) is a statewide trade association representing over 1,300 franchised automobile dealerships in nearly 300 communities throughout the state of Texas. TADA advocates on behalf of the dealers at the Texas Legislature, Congress, and all regulatory agencies.
